jesus... that is painful to watch if that's an axle breaking. I wonder what he has done to the car to break it on a launch.

dunno but its not the 1st i have seen...i saw a young kid race about 4 cars ..and on the 5th car it broke

its a wrx thats why, i have launched my 06 sti at redline countless times, and no problems yet( but im stock) with 13k miles on it

umm no look at rims and brakes...its STi with wrx wing.. you can also see the seats/front scoop

you have 06 with new transfer ratio..isn't it like 50/50 now?

Ouch! I think that was a 6k+ dump. He needs to learn how to slip the clutch and build boost off the dig.

There is another video that goes with this where he does a couple near redline clutch-drops and I think a burnout. Then he tried to do another launch...

Meh, breaking axles suck but it's still better than breaking the tranny.

wtf, most people who race there sti drop at close to redline, ive never seen someone break and axle on an sti dropping at redline . . i do it and pull low 1.7 60'
here is a vid of me launching i think at around 6500 and dumping it

(the vid i just uploaded so ive it alittle bit, it might not work for an hour or more)

this is the second part of the owner burnering out all 4 tires, i'm pretty sure he was reving it really high in order to spin all the wheels
