That guy is a tool, even the new 05' and up GTs aren't that quick. I ran into another freaking retard in a saleen mustang on the interstate that cut me off in the rain and thought he was hot ****. I'm actually born and raised a ford guy and I love ford, but these guys are giving us a bad name. I come from the opposite ends of the spectrum, I have a Lightning and acquiring an sti in the next couple of months. I want to beat that *** in the video with my lightning so bad it hurts.

It had an intake, exhaust, and rear gear upgrade. My stock STi (not stock anymore) would have beat it off the line while the cobra would still be spinning in its wheels--the beauty of awd. The cobra was heavy and felt like I was in a boat, despite almost 3K invested in suspension. Bottom line. . .the STi would run passed, through, and around any cobra wannabe.

My friend just bought a mint condition 01 Cobra convertible. I hope to smoke him the first chance I get. I am stock and so is he. This should be fun. Then we will switch cars to see who's the better driver.

Tell me about it!! I used to work at Mustang's Unlimited. Every idiot with a car like that comes in and buys some "Powered by Ford" seatbelt pads and then leaves smokin up the tires like we've never seen a flowmaster exhaust before. This is how a race goes against my stock STi. I jump him by 5 cars right of the bat, then pull away while he makes excuses about traction.
