you can put a late model V8 in just about ANYthing and it's gonna run real good straight (fast 1/4).

I went and test drove a 2004 gto yesterday. Overall I would say it was a very nice car. I was slightly dissappointed in how slow it felt compared to my sti. Still a quick car but it had nothing on my sti. The interrior was pretty nice however and there were very few squeaks and rattles...

Come own...<--hillybilly voice. LOL..that's hilarious. If that GTO seriously only had a borla catback either that STI wasn't racing, driver needs modding or something was wrong with his car. I drove an 04 GTO and it felt like a fat (slow) pig compared to my old S4 and my STI.

Especially since it sounds like his GTO might have had power mods, even though it was on a stock suspension.

I liked living in the south. I got to steal a few debutants away from the good ole boys...they don't take to kindly to a yankee stealing their girls. Oh well, maybe if they did more than drink moonshine and bail hay they would have a fighting chance!

Rofl, I totally agree. Some accents sound really nice (ie: English accents or Spanish) but southern accents are f*cking atrocious. It's been said before in this thread, but, the GTO is really only faster than that STi in a straight line. They are very unbalanced(nose-heavy) and, as seen in these videos, are driven by redneck douchebags :P
