That car either had more work than a cat-back Borla exhaust or the STi in the second vid was not racing. 05 GTO's run 4.7 0-60mph and 13.34 1/4 miles.

did anyone see in the second video when the jaws theme started playing and then just randomly you see JUST the fin float by in the rear view? that was priceless. give it a look again and you'll see.

Upon further review..., that STi in the 2nd video is not even close to racing, when he goes off the line, he puts his blinker on to turn left at the U turn area... and it sure didnt sound like he launched at all!

I agree with you here. I can't stand them. Probably because the only people around here who drive them are 40 something year olds who are trying to get back to their youth. They always gice dirty looks to us around here. I dont understand why they get so excited when they beat car's like STi's. Think about it, 4 cylinder, 2.5 liter engine, 300 crank hp vs. a 450 or so hp, v8 muscle car. Needless to say I beat the faster one, 6.2 liter in my dad's car a few weeks ago on a backroad. They're nice and all, but I'll stick with subaru. Subaru=FTW

I took a few rides in a 400hp GTO at the local autox. Pretty cool car. Nice interior and great top end power. It went around the track like a boat though...never once did we have a clean run. Really I wasnt convienced that it was faster than my STi at WOT...but maybe that because we never got traction
