Let me ask you a question...when you see one bad apple in the grocery store do you completly stop eating apples? Because that's the same logic your applying to your turbo choice, and it's bad logic to use. In statistics there is something called a "normal distribution" and let's just say that gt35r STi is not in it. If you think a bolt-on turbo will take down a well tuned/well driven gt35r you'll be surprised when you get your ass handed to you with a side of chips by one. I'm not trying to be a dick, just trying to help drive the point home. | |

My pals GT35 STI (TUNED) pulled like 5 cars on me when he hit boost in 3rd n 4th.. it was insane to see a car go tht fast. |

sux ??? lol... i dont care wat ppl say..for me , it's not that GT35R is slow in the pic, i believe it's the car. about 99%+ are running FAST with GT35R or bigger including EVOs, and more ppl hit 11's and 10's with GT35R, i dont think GT35R sux... as far as i know, there are ppl making 380 hp with GT35R ~600 hp with same turbo, it's all about set up and tune, also how hard the driver wants to push .. Again like other posters in this thread I dont mean to come off like a dick but anyone with even a little bit of turbo knowledge should understand why no bolt ons in the world will make a VF39 pump out as much power as a GT35R. Take a look at boost maps for these two turbos if you can find one, you shouldnt be surprised to see that the GT35R has much higher flow numbers, as it very well should due to many factors and compressor size being the main one. Its not like the GT35R applies to Subaru's only, it has been pumping out big power under the hood of many, many, many different makes and models. |

The car even had a vid of it being dyno'd at TopSpeed and then footage of him goin out and running a very fast quarter mile. The only reason I bring this up is the fact that the vid in this thread said he was running 30 psi and barely outran a stock LS1 powered Z28 lmao. Anyways what Im trying to get at here is the fact that there are so many fast cars out there with a GT35R under the hood that trying to put this turbo down is an effort in futility.
