What do you guys think happened in this video to cause that? He overcorrected or something?

He dropped throttle and hit the brakes while turning hard, snap oversteer. Too much car for that much talent.

He got freaked by the motorcycle, and oversteered, then overcorrected, then crashed. I don't feel bad for the guy though, not one bit. I feel bad for the car though. : (

Is this the one where the vette is chasing the STi in the canyons? Seen this one before. I would say that the guy went into the turn too hot for his comfort level and panicked when he saw the motorcycle (probably thought it was a cop.) Tapped the brakes and boom.

Yeah, that's the one. It also looks like the motorcycle was pretty far to his side if it's lane so I too think it freaked him a little bit and he hit the brakes at the wrong time/situation.

Also it looks to be a decreasing radius corner. He's already in trouble by the time the motorcycle goes by him. To me it looks like he had to turn sharper and lifted throttle/ got on the brakes which contributed to the oversteer, then he over corrected and went straight into the wall.

So in hindsight, if he's going to hot into the corner (and kept his cool) he should have stayed steady on the gas or ease off barely and try and let the car steer through the corner, worst case scenerio, a little bit of understeer?

the motorcyle, decreasing radius turn, and sand on the road ...he got spooked, tapped the brakes too hard and boom snapped out the rear. that sucks.
