IWSTI Addict since: Nov 2004 Trader Rating: (0) | I got the car tuned somewhat for the BigMAF. It's actually a lot smoother in the low revs than it used to be. My maps still need work though, they're pig rich and I have a spot between 4-5k when boost is building where it goes to 10.0 AFR (3.8+ Load!), but otherwise it's all good. I added a LOT more than 10% fuel to the intake calibration maps. Assuming my replacement EGT probe arrives today and fixes the problem with my EGT gauge, I'll be hitting the dragstrip tomorrow night (Lebanon Valley Dragway). I'm more interested in the trap speed than the ET, I really can't launch the car now due to my stock clutch. I lowered the boost in 1st gear to help a little, but it still either slips or bogs. As I've mentioned elsewhere, a new motor will be coming this winter. Sooner if parts go flying. |

IWSTI Addict since: Nov 2004 Trader Rating: (0) | I made two passes of 12.1 @ 117 with all sorts of problems off the line and pig rich AFR's... the car was gaining 25mph between the 1/8 and the 1/4. All things considered (pig rich afr's, low timing, 150f+ inlet temps) I was really happy with my runs. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |
