I don't totally get this type of modding. Yes the car is quick but it can't lay the power down off the line without drag radials/slicks, probably can't accelerate out of a turn very well thanks to that power, and certainly needs bigger brakes as someone mentioned. If all you want to do is go fast in a straight-line, from a roll even, there are MUCH better cars than this.

adding a turbo is adding a ton of power regardless of the psi. My buddies 350z is running a single turbo at 8psi and puts down 390hp to the wheels.

Something's fishy with this, still a really clean looking Scion.
clean... except its got a huge "turbochargers.com" sticker on the side. If i had a little sleeper tC, i wouldnt ruin the suprise on people with that decal....

Yea, I ran him right after they brought the shop tc back. It put down 330whp to my what 280-290whp? lol I just felt like seeing it get down so we went. Then when I saw what the shop guy posted; acting like I was all supprised and how I was pissed off. lol Trying to make me sound like some stupid teenage sti driver. So now, I am telling everyone the facts, that even though they act like the car didn't break several times it did, also none of the vids of this silver tc shop car have been with the 16g which is what comes with their $4-5k "turbo kits" despite them claiming in the vids that they are just one of their normal kits (notice they don't show the tc engine bay). Further, they lie in the vids about what I was running which is Cobb stg2. That was the tc that was backfiring like crazy and what you don't see in the vid is the first run where I pulled hard because he spun(probably why he jumped me on the runs you see) or the multiple times we had to stop so he could try to adjust the fuel to keep it from detonation. Now I feel better lol just tired of the bs and listening to many peoples retarded reasons for what they were seeing. Bottom-line you put a big turbo on a stock high compression tc and it will be fast until it blows. Do the same thing to a geo metro same results. lol

I am not surprised that a 300+ whp car beat a 280-290 whp car. It made more power and from a roll traction is not a problem. The only indignity is that it was a scion that did it. In the end, 280-290 whp is not that much in the world of street racing. I used to get beat 1 out of every 4 runs when I used to take my 416 whp mustang to Raceway Park at Englishtown for street night test and tunes. These things happen.

There is a guy in town that has a TC turbo, runs an 8.5 at the local 8th compared to my 8.1, can't wait to roll on him.

Easy pickin's.

seriously. PSI != Amount of power.

A T60 turbo provides more air at 10psi than our VFs do at like 20.
