On another note. Before I bought mine, I must admit I test drove an evo IX, and I have to say.....well, Im here aren't I?

motortrends evo mr vs 06 sti. they picked the sti. the 06 and MR were almost identical around the track, skidpad and drag. i bet if they would have put the 06 sti vs teh evo fq it would have been a lot faster.

still...faster than an aston martin, and only 4 from the top? yeah, thats why i bought the sti.

From what I hear from friends with evos, mitsu doesn't honor warranties now.

"no idea why" yup, same here...no idea why...it just feels right.

I haven't watched top gear in a bit. That show is always photographed way better than most other shows. Its like watching an movie. I love how they subtley use filters and lighting to set the mood and highlight things.

I never had the chance to test drive an Evo. Our local dealership got in a red one and wouldn't let anyone test drive it at all. So instead of test driving it they let me test drive a new 04 C5 Z06 instead.. I was like wtf.. will lemme test drive a 50k car but not a 30k car. I got the STi cuz I like the sound, looks, and the company 100x better.

Our local dealership won't put one on the showroom or the lot because of all the problems mitsu has and problems with warranties. The guy that bought the red one put a K&N Filter in his stock box and Mitsu voided the warranty on his whole car.
