Default Two Cobb Stage 2 STi's VS. Modded EVO

Can someone tell me what happened in the video. My internet is acting up. I get like one screen per minute. Now its stuck on one picture.

All I know is the Evo broke at the end according to the comments section.

Exact words from comment section "I'm in the white car and would like to let everybody know that the '05 EVO broke that night while racing us. It threw a rod and you can hear it righ t at the begining of the LAST race."

At the end, the STi with the open downpipe raced the evo 2 times. Both times the STi pulled on him, but the second time he pulled on him even more!
Stage 2 is the SHIIIAT!

so why don't we have a mod to bump up to 22 psi? engine can't take it i guess? or maybe just too small a turbo stock?

Nice video!
And yes, on cold MN days my stage 2 has seen 1.5 bar ~ 22psi (yes, I realize thats not desirable)

I get into higher boost since my Protune. My gauge must read high b/c I see around 22+, of course I'm also using a 50/50 meth/water injection.

Yea that was me in the silver sti with the open dp last fall. In the first run where the evo passed me, I missed 5th.

The EVO was running 22 psi not the sti's(cobb stg2)

And yes the evo blew his motor, he ended up trying to drive home only to have to flatbed it at the 1/2 way mark. Listen to the beginning of the last run and you will hear the evo motor knocking.

Also recently, I ran an evo8 that was tuned to 22psi and had intake, tbe, boost controller and 272 cams. I was running the pdx 100 oct map, with tbe and drop-in filter, had about a half a car by the time I shifted into sixth(45-100+).

This is the evo http://media.putfile.com/Coreys-79-18th
And yes that is me smoking my clutch and then coasting down the track lol
