Default GOT MY BASELINE DYNO TODAY!! (pics & vid)(56k..ugh)

well like the title says i went to mac autosports and got a dyno today....was impressed with the numbers, was expecten a lil lower....well heres a lil vid i threw together...its just a BASELINE so might be boring compared to a gt35r lol....final numbers where 261hp and 274tq

Look pretty normal to me for a DynoJet dyno at altitude.

Yep just remember that it doesn't really compare to anyone elses numbers. Just take it for what it is...a baseline. (But nice numbers. )

is that whp? or at the crank? i am guessing at the crank, but its on a dyno jet so it could be just a high reading... either way awesome vid and #'s ..btw love the blue tip

Reading is a little high. What do other STIs baseline there in stock trim? Not dissing your numbers, but generally speaking STIs put down about 240ish. Of course all dyno numbers are subjective to the perticular dyno used. That's why it's always a good idea to use the same dyno/same conditions (if possible) to do measurements on your car before and after a mod if you want to know the number for the gains, but comparing one output number to someone elses is very subjective. A good example of this is a DynoDynamics dyno... really low reading, but also the most accurate when compared to real world putdown on a road.

The number is on the high side for an otherwise stock STI. Any idea what's the correction factor they use ?
