I guess the following is all made up then... huh?

"Vicki is a presenter of Fifth Gear, Speed Sunday, Touring Cars and Formula Woman

After completing a journalism course, Vicki started her career as an editorial assistant for Car Mechanics Magazine. She then helped launch Max Power, and has been a road tester for Auto Express, Carweek Magazine and worked as News Editor at What Car?

Vicki has been in the driving seat since the tender age of 12, racing a 100cc kart until the age of 17. As she gained experience, she raced a Ginetta two-seater sports car in the one-make series in 2000. Not only does Vicki compete, she is also a racing instructor at many UK circuits and holds a RACMSA Race National A licence."

Isn't the UK Spec Impreza STI underpowered compared to the US Spec?

Longblocks are IDENTICAL. I'm actually strongly considering a FXT. Because of the gearing, 350 whp WRX's go high 11's, it takes 450 whp in an STi to do it. If the tranny will hold, 500 whp in a FXT should go 10's

If it ever comes to the states I'll have to convince my wife to get it instead of a new minivan!

Awesome vid...and like SS said, very easy to convert a Forester XT into something very close to the Forester STi.

Trust me...I drive mine everyday.

Damn both of the cars in the video sounded awesome...and they are stock...what gives? Don't tell me our cars sound like that stock, 'cause it's never been that throaty as far as I can tell. Sounded like a TBE almost
