IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | i don't want to tear on jettas to much but when i first got my car he wanted to drag just to see where he was. keep in mind this is a GLI jetta with turbo. so there is this long strech of roadway with a bunch of lights, and we go on this road and we are comming up to the first light, we stop it changes and he goes, i told him to wait for second traffic light cause it was a longer strech, so i didn't know he was racing, so i am shifting at like 3-3.5k right just so i can get some mpg before i woop em. he is topping out every gear and we are neck and neck to whole way, windows up and 12" thumpin so i didn't hear his motor, we come to the next light and he has this huge smile on his face. so of caorse he doesn't believe me right, he just thinks that his jetta can keep up with my sti which is running 310whp and 342wtq...some people..and he won't race me again cause he says he doesn't want to wreck his clutch..what an excuse..lol wow long post, can you tell i am bored..just thought it was a funny story and it just shows how our cars are the bench mark for most imports nowdays..i must hear ten times a day yeah i got a buddy with a (fill in the blank) that smokes sti's..then you meet him and it's a civic with an incredibly loud muffler and if he is a real racer it's a stick wow.lol |

IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | haha you should see what i do to these guys when they are drunk..usually have the car sideways arround corners and stuff and they are just screamin and yellin but i almost had someone ralf all over..he was like omg pull over so i yank the hand brake and pull over and get out as fast as i can and rip the door open and grap him by his sweatshirt and toss em out right be4 he spews..lol true story..everyone else was like wow that was harsh and i reply "hey it's an STI" lol |
