damn good...the z06 deffinitely has the power on the straights, but the sti cathces him in the turns.

How do we know that the vette was a Z06 and was supercharged?

The STI didn't get close enough for me to see the badging, and no video was provided showing the Z06 was supercharged. This video seems fishy to me.

The guy driving the corvette had horrible lines, on the other hand the STi had perfect ones. Thanks for the video!

Very nice, good job STi! I wonder how it would have been in round 2 if the STi had a set of sticky tires and Stg2!!!!!! Hmmmm!

I agree the vette lines were horrible. He is just really bad on the corners,and the STi driver knows what he's doing. This looks like an amateur vs professional set up. Equal drivers, the vette would have been out of the STI's site. Had they switched drivers in those cars, the vette would have absolutely trounced the STI, and it wouldn't even be seen in camera. Nice video though. Driver skill is night and day in that race, but boy did that vette pull away fast on the straight aways.

Am I the ONLY one that thinks that neither of these guys can drive? (Putting on the flame suit now, LOL) He was putting WAYYYYY too much steering input in on most corners. If he'd have just settled down a bit he might have been able to really pressure the guy and get a pass done.

Before everyone rapes me know this. I've been to Topeka a few times and have had the STi there once for a driving school. I actually am attending my second there in less than 2 weeks. Hopefully I can get a vid made and I'll be sure to post it to backup what I've just said. I mean no dissrespect either, just saying that maybe he got "caughtup" in the moment, (I know I do sometimes) and forgot everything he had learned when he got that Vette infront of him.
