The STI didn't get close enough for me to see the badging, and no video was provided showing the Z06 was supercharged. This video seems fishy to me.
I was simply going by the information that was given in the title.

Still watched it though, good stuff.
Do you have Windows media player 10 and all the newer codecs and everything?

I had a problem with streetfire + WMV + mozilla. But all I had to do was download windows media player 10.

Thats why I brought it up. There is no definite evidence to show the vette is a Z06 or supercharged. Good run by the STI nonetheless.

I watched the Video before reading the posts here. I agree with WERND regarding both drivers.

My previous car was a 98 Z28 and with minor suspension mods (800lb front springs, 160lb rear springs and custom valved Bilsteins). I took this car to some track days and not only kept up, but passed exotics such as 911's Boxter S, Z06, M3s, Lotus Esprit V8 twin turbo and even a 360 Modena. My point? It is the driver that matters as much or more than the car. And no, I did not go on all the F-Body sites and state that I smoked a Ferrai and a Lotus!

I hate it when "kids" come up to me and tell my my STi is the fastest thing ever and would smoke a Vette. I have driven two Z06's - once on the road and once at Gingerman Raceway in Michigan. There is absolutely no doubt in my opinion that with equal drivers the Z06 will walk away from the STi and never look back.

Remember, I own an STi and love it!

The vette driver was on the brakes until the apex on some of those corners...
