In real life this is the most God-like rumble I've ever heard. Since the moment he first fired it up I was hooked, but the volume is a bit out of my league, so I've been looking elsewhere. Unfortunately, there is no substitute.

H&S Vortex > everything else

yeah, what's funny though... is when you ask people here and nabisco what the best boxer sound is, the genome is always up top. it sounds very good, but nothing like the vortex, or b&b. UL's right. god like is a very good description for it. woo hoo. next week i'll have my 3rd one. i'm a junkie!

I'm straight-up bolting that to my car one of these weekends, just to see if Sari & the neighbors could deal with it on a regular basis. You won't mind rockin' the Prodrive for a weekend right?

LOL

I got the Vortex on my 05 STI too, got it from Rich at Daddys. Started with the Ninja but it was a little to quiet for my taste, traded it for the Vortex and never looked back. The axleback is my only exhaust mod right now and its pretty freakin loud, but sounds awesome. If I happen to stumble upon stage 2 this exhaust might have to go because then I think it might be a tad to loud for me, otherwise couldn't be happier.

uhm, ok. i'm guessing you havn't heard this one in person? it's WAY deeper than any other exhaust, and there is no rasp at all. trust me, i've had a lot of exhausts on my 3 subaru cars, including the genome. if' you're down w/ the woo hoo whistle, cool, but it's not really my cup of tea.
