Unhappy Not a Riced Out STI?

Why would you add these to the STI? I am talking about strobe lights. Doesnt that kinda seem ricer like? Look at this video. Sorry if it is a repost.

One word.....

WHY???

I'm not an expert in this area, but the strobe action cannot be good for the ballasts and whatnot in the HID.

Usually the strobes or "wig wags" have a small, seperate bulb in the housing that does the flashing so as not to wear out the real head light bulb. I thought it looked kind of neat, but definitely illegal as hell outside of a show setting (at least around here).

Maybe he's a cop/firefighter in one of those districts where police/firefighters are allowed strobes on their personal calls to respond to an emergency while off duty. (Say they were called to a scene).
