That was you in the black sti? I wasn't sure at first if you were waving or just looking at me at first cuz the traffic was in the way. Couldn't see you clearly. I saw you give me a thumbs up, I smiled at you and the traffic was moving so I couldn't give you a nice thumbs up lol. And yea woodward is a horrible place to race, but I check around before I race. I don't go out there and race 24/7. I sit around @ hawthorne, talk to people for a long time... when it gets a little cold, i just do a little loop on woodward. Yes that's the first and the ONLY time i've lauched my car. Yes it was horrible, but it was very very fast i must tell you. You should come out to hawthrones once in a while on friday nights. | |

IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2006 Trader Rating: (1) | i just browse iwsti, nasioc is my spot...and you are still a newb. I saw you on square lake, I spotted you from like a half mile away(eagle eye)....you had that dtm sticker on your windsheild, dtm just reminds me of BMW. the clutch isn't bulletproof, so just becareful with it, it's all about driving smoothly, you will naturally pick up how the car should be "launched" It's to hard to explain how to launch it, it's just a feeling you have. Once you learn how the car responds to your clutch actuation at different throttle points you will be able to launch at higher rpm's smoothly...thus adding more throttle and the responding correct clutch actuation= faster launch . You have to becareful, it's pretty easy to ruin a transmission. and don't try launches all the time...in fact don't really do em...especially in races/with friends when you have something to prove, it puts stress and excess wear on your car, even if you do it right good luck with the car, see ya round town |

IWSTI Addict since: Nov 2005 Trader Rating: (1) | I know how to launch the car "properly" I feather the clutch in and ease it out It's just that one race, I guess i clutched out wrong and ended up with a fast launch + blow to my clutch. Half mile away? O.o Yea my car has dtmpower.net my prev. car was a bimmer and i have so much respect for that forums (my first forums that made me into techno/trance music + fast cars lol) Like I said, i never launch my car. I rev to 4k and feather it out slowly and punch it when it's all eased out if I was to race. Most of the racing i would do from a roll anyway. Yea good luck with your car too man. Hope to see you again lol. Any mods on your car? |

IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2006 Trader Rating: (1) | sizzflair-no mods yet..i have 12k left on my warranty, so i will wait till then. For now i'm just going to go catback, intake, ic hose, grounding, strut tower, repaint my bumper(has a lot of stone chips)...this is my 3rd impreza so i want the brakes, struts to be acessed as needed...bla bla to be warrantied(as they have issues) yah u can see our headlights from a far distance away, they are pretty different from other headlights...i spotted you from far, can't you tell..i stopped in traffic when i was really far away from you...i like checking out the 06's up close, still not decided on them but i did change my nasioc profile- it use to say uglyalfaromeo, the front is growing on me, but i like the 06 back a lot....but my front ftw...oh well you got some new "better" less rwd'ish differentials and wider wheels sonic-yah hope to see ya around, congrats on the new car...i use to be into those 03 cobras a lot...my buddy put down a 11.7 on drag radials, in his 03 blue cobra convertible@ milan dragway, MI....all it had was an intake and short shifter and a rear stabilizing bar i saw some cobras in the high 10's and don walsh was there if you have ever heard of him he put down a 10.8 in a black 03 cobra...bla bla smaller pulley(probably lightning pulley) |

IWSTI Addict since: Nov 2005 Trader Rating: (1) | Morepsithebett4 - Oh sweet man.. 04 sti and you still have that many miles of warrenty left? sweet Yea i know what you're saying about the headlight. When I go cruising and my group (used to be 3 06 sti's including me), i'll always check for headlights haha.My front grew on me since i have it lol. It's all good. I wish i could change the grill, but o well. Sonic - sweet another 06 sti on the road! Hope to see you... that would make 4 of 06 sti's to be cruising... if you're getting CGM... There will be 3 CGM's and ME with WRB haha. Where are you getting your sti from? Hodges subaru is cool. I got mine from Suburban subaru.. talk to richard! he's a cool guy if you plan to go there. You should get the white 06!! lol |

PM me, Im me on AIM (MorierIsthar), or call me on my cell. Yea today is a really nice day. I heard that last night (friday) was crazy on woodward. I couldn't go, but I really wanted to |
