IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2005 Trader Rating: (0) | Mine: 2004 STi, K&N typhoon intake, megan racing TBE catless protuned by ed @ edtuning.com His: 2002 WRX, helix tbe, JDM 6spd, uppipe, tuned by ed @ eqtuning.com He was by himself (190lbs), I was riding shotgun in my car (210lbs) driver was my buddy (230lbs) and bogged the launch and didn't shift very efficiently, but it didn't matter too much... in the second run of the video we just let him go and stayed in 5th around 2200rpm then punched it http://shawnkubik.home.comcast.net/22706.wmv -moral of story: his car can walk a stock sti from a dig or a roll, but when you stg2+protune a sti... things get rediculous This ad is not endorsed by this member. IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2005 Trader Rating: (0) | who? john can drive very well (wrx), my buddy's never driven a STi before and i was drunk/never drive like that on the street anyway and i don't want to have the stg2 vs. stock sti debate, i had a wrx before this car from every mod level from stock to vf30/fmic before i sold it and at stg2 power levels, i could take stock sti's as well (if you ignore how much better of a car a sti is, handling, features and robust driveline) |

IWSTI Addict since: May 2005 Trader Rating: (2) | Woah was there a debate on if a stg 2 wrx can keep up with a stock sti. If there was, the yes the stg 2 wrx easily keeps up with stock sti's. I know from experience in my cobb stage 2 wrx. I raced many stock sti's from a roll and none pulled more then 1/2 a car. |

IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2005 Trader Rating: (0) | Ahh, the good 'ol "street racing while crunk" video. Street racing kills, gives all of us a bad rep, and is stupid. I award you no points. If you wanna compare cars, do it on the track. |
