| Professional STI Driver | I love that 997 Turbo, probably more like our STI's then the GT3, but the GT3 is nice also. Can I have one of each? This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

| Professional STI Racer | Porsche picked the best launch color for the new GT3. Kudos to them...i want one. Maybe white is the new trend just like silver was in 2003. The new GTI launch color is white too. I see a trend coming on... |

A white 06 STI looks nice but a white 06 Evo 9 MR with a nice body kit looks sick. I remember seeing a picture of one and the car looked so mean. i still prefer a STI.

| Junior STI Driver | ^^^^My thoughts EXACTLY On another note I actually rather have a GT3 over a GT2 - well if it was me spending my money. Oh and I think I found a car I like more than the Z06(I think its worth the 25,000 more for the things associated with the Porsche name opposed to the Z06s superior performance - straight line atleast) I dont want to hear Nurburgring times either, as much as I love the track, there are WAY to many factors to test - so until the same driver in the same exact conditions laps both cars I take those times w/ a grain of salt. Oh and just for a side note, Porsche is usually conservative with their performance figures(0-60 in 4.1 - I would expect it a bit quicker) |

One of the more memorable moments at the event.... A RUF Yellowbird (CTR2, I believe) with street tags running at speed alongside full race Porsches on track during races. My boss led a lap with his 700hp+ 930, but with speeds of 200mph and the ridiculous amount of downforce, the RR tire rubbed the oil line in the fenderwell coming aorund turn 4, causing pretty big leak. So that was the end of that session. lol Haven't had the pleasure of attending any events at Road America; however, been to quite a few tracks around the country when I was involved in GrandAm Rolex series. Daytona is still my favorite. Great "Gentlemen's Club," called Lolli Pops down the street as well. puhehe. ahhh I miss those days.
