Regardless of who won or loss...I would be happy driving either one of those cars...

Although I dislike Lambos but agree that a stock Gallardo is superior to a stock STi in almost every way, isn't it funny how all the Lambo fanboys on the streetfire were SO quick to jump on the, "it was an Impreza WRC" bandwagon?

I wonder what an impreza wrc would run the 1/4 in. Its a 300hp car right?

I'm pretty sure they have a lot more torque to the rear compared to the STI so that probably explains the launch. Nice vid!

IMO, u can build a really fast car to embarass any other car if u really wanted to...its like having a 9 sec lil honda civic hatchback...yea, its fast and will smoke alot of cars, but its still just a lil honda...plus im sure anyone that can afford a gallardo can afford to build a lil honda super fast if he wanted to, for less than the cost of the insurance on his lambo...it all boils down to luxury and respect (money-wise)...

STI owner* yah, who's your daddy now!! (big grin on his face, goes home brags about the kill with his buddies, drinking beer in his 2 car garage)

Lambo owner* hmmmn, I think I'll buy two of those. (shakes his head, goes home, butler serves wine, hot wife gives him rub down, closes his 6 car garage)

That's a great video. As an STi owner that's awesome to see, but that car definetly has some mods on it. So the Subie wins this battle, but who really wins the war? I think we know who.

One of the owners of the company I work for just bought a 2006 Gallardo E-Gear. It's effing gorgeous. After the break-in period I will be the first guy to get to take a test-drive because he knows I'm the resident car nut. I can't wait.

It's also motivating because when I started with L-R-G 3 years ago his only car was really early 90's Jeep Cherokee 2 door. I gave him a ribbing though when he pulled up in this because I was the 1-man pro-F430 lobby. Everyone else was rooting for Lambo.

*Hey you can see my car in the background.

I had to watch that twice too. Looks like the Lambo driver just didn't get a good launch. The Gallardos are AWD too. Still makes me proud to have a STi...and yet still want a Lambo.

Hy. I am Andrew , the STi from the gallardo movie is mine. I don't know about you but I really race my car (cars) and I can tell you that a Gallardo is a hard car to beat.
if you are interested in talking more about this drag race I will be answering your questions.
