| Junior STI Driver | i test drove both evo9 and 06sti while on vacation back home in hawaii from the military. honestly, both are great cars and its hard to decide which is faster on a 1/4 mile. sti had the initial torque but seems to drop off in the higher rpms, as opposed to the evo which is torqueless in the low rpm but takes off like a rocket in the higher rpms. like the video said, i still found myself leaning towards the sti, and it looked better in my opinion... http://www.roadandtrack.com/article....rticle_id=2908 click on web-exlusive video. yeah the evo is the fat bastard in this one! |

Your alignment shop is correct the rear is not adjustable stock, but camber bolts will make it so that it is. the back usually has 1.5- camber and the front has depending on your year 1- camber max. this is one of the things that makes our cars understeer. If you can get more negative camber up front than you have in the rear your call will rotate easier (oversteer) and you can step the back end out. Camber bolts tend to lossen up and change thier camber settings, so it is not the best way to gain camber but it is the cheapest. also camber bolts change your class if you plan on racing. | |
