Honestly I think the Topspeed dyno reads a bit higher than the dynojet that Gadiel and others(such as Kingpin) seem to be using...Kingpin/Gadiel both say 565whp is where the stock heads are maxed out...yet I've heard of 610whp STi's from Topspeed with GT35R's on stock heads/cams. Not discounting your results--your car is fast regardless of the numbers--but I think you'd be better off subtracting 20-40whp from your results if you want to compare.

that's why i dont pay too much attention to dyno numbers, focus mostly on trap speeds. when i ran that 121mph I was getting knock/detonation in 3rd, 4th and 5th gear (meth pump wasnt working properly, died a few days later). After replacing my meth pump I went back and ran 7.0 compared to 7.5 in the 11.6 run, same mph in the 1/8. Gadiel's car also had forged pistons, 30psi, and c16 when they broke 10's, and according to his thread they were making 660whp http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...highlight=10.9

it's hard to say if TopSpeeds dyno reads high, but it definitely doesnt read low.

I'd say there is more than enough proof that the dyno doesn't read abnormally high based on your own 348whp 114 trap run with the 20g/tmic, and what you did to the Viper GTS (119 factory trap speed) off a roll. Like you said, it certainly doesn't read low...

Very impressive. Though, aren't you worried about the stock pistons at that output? Have you broken any axles yet? Also, what tires are you using?

Keep up the great work.

Yeah that makes much more sense. I would think with your power levels you would be running low 11s from what we've been seeing other STis do.

yup, stock pistons shouldnt be holding up for much longer. I've having a new block installed next month. Stock axles, 150+ drag strip launches and still going strong!

What STi's are you seeing run low 11's with the same power? Outside of puerto rico? haha! My car definitely has low 11 sec capability, however I'm not taking it back to the strip until the block upgrade.

I'm using 235/40-18 Azenis 615's, Enkei RPF1's.

So what launch technique do you use? Would I be correct in assuming it's a quick-slip instead of a clutch drop?

yes, I blip the rpm's above 4500 and slip the clutch. I prefer to shift below 6500 rpm in 1st-2nd and above 6500 for the remaining gears.

i ran the qtr when i had a tbe and utec, the utec was never tuned but simply plugged in running an ots map. 12.7 @ 106mph 1.7 60ft. If I had a custom tune it would have been capable of much lower et's.
