| Amateur STI Driver | Cops tires are rated for 200km/h only for insurance purposes. this is equal to about 125mph. Let alone, they aren't going to endanger themselves and public by speeding down any further, but im sure the crown vics can top at 135ish mph. They are pigs, they accelerate to 0-100 in like 8.5 seconds, aren't very fast at all. but they do have hte big v8. If i get away easily in my R that dynod at 170whp (only weigh 2580lbs tho :P)(Iv had it had REDLINED @ 155mph GPS rated., the STi should have no trouble..esp w/STG 2 goodies and close to 300awhp. Wowzers.. i can only imagine and dream for now.. soon soon tho! Last edited by itr1268; 02-18-2006 at 09:34 AM. |

| Amateur STI Driver | You guys ever watch cops, or those shows with crazy videos. Drugdealers getting pulled over with KILOS or coke, weed, etc.....and they are always in these really old ass oldmobile cutlass or some kind of junk like that... I mean, if you are transporting that much heat, wouldn't you atleast have a fast ride, with swapped plates??? :P BTW, there was an individual with a WRB STi that was pulling of robberies and home burglaries in his sti , (or it may have been a stolen STi..) cops didnt have a chance they reported, after 200km/h the car became a blur... (Toronto area) And if you look in Australia, lots of WRX's are being used aswell. |

IWSTI Addict since: May 2005 Trader Rating: (8) | Around here the state troopers have a Camaro cop car... If one of them was following a stock STi, I have a feeling it wouldn't be able to pull away. IDK for sure though, but I think it has more power than a stock Camaro has |
