Real racers race from a stop. The day i see a race from a roll at the dragstrip is the day i sell my car for a moped.

PINKS is fake. A buddy of mine that lives in FL (lived in Vegas at the time) was at a car show and saw one of the guys that participated on PINKS with his car and lost, and he was at the show with his car. PINKS is all for show....

Mopeds have an awesome top end!

I think a lot of people will want to race an AWD car from a roll just to eliminate the "unfair" advantage. As far as I'm concerned, it's "run what'cha brung."

A few months ago I decided to pit my STi against my Camaro, and I ran from a roll. No doubt the STi would win in the 1/4 due to its AWD launch, but I wanted to take out that "unfair" advantage and see which car was really the faster car.

The result: I was happily relieved when they ran side by side and there was no winner.

I would've hated to see the STi win and I would've hated to see the Camaro lose. They're both my babies. I can't favor one over the other.

No doubt! It sounds as if that car didn't have any tuning whatsoever. It sounded as if that Scion just had the turbo strapped on, and the guy just went out driving.

hahaha, you are only supporting what I was saying, and you dont even realize it! an UNTUNED n/a to turbo vehicle will NOT run properly you cannot just throw a turbo on an n/a vehicle and expect it to know how to use it, so for the third time...I stand by my comments.

Wha ta! "Unfair Advantage"... Hey man is it 4 cylinder Camaro. The camaro has 4 more cylinders wouldn't you say that's an unfair advantage...

Whether you have a V12, twin turbos, awd, nos, slicks, or whatever if you cant beat a car from a stop. Then your just plain slower

With that said. Your Sti is faster and better than your Camaro

Also, that is the ZPI performance scion tc, over 400whp, with water injection..... VERY modified. uhg. Why even argue.

Yeah i raced an 04 cobra the other day in my stock sti...i pulled like 3 cars on it. Man i love my sti!

Welcome to the site, and thanks for posting the vid. I found it quite entertaining!

But what's equally NOT entertaining is that with all this fanboy behavior going on, this place looks like an SRT forum (as was mentioned).

It's pretty sad, actually. But, the positive that's come out of it is that it advertises who to avoid in the future. I think I'll be busy adding some people to the "ignore list" this evening.
