Default From the RX7 board...

For those not in the rotary world, that car is pretty much the extent of what you can do on pump gas (which is even debatable running that much boost on 93, one knock event and it may be the end) vs. a STI with barely anything done

see why i diss the rotary stuff?

I use to own an Rx-7 with 405rwhp and my STi would smoke it off the line and probally all the way to 4th gear but after that it would be all over for the STi.

Last Gen RX-7s are quick little cars. Stock they ran well into the 13's at a little over 100mph. With some work, they can be wicked. Light weight, RWD and a turbo system is always a good thing. I'm not surpirsed at the outcome even though the STI did quite well(Especially from a stop).

stock they can almost run 14-flat at 100mph (+/- 5mph)

13s would be very hard stock. maybe with a driver less than 100kg, and lots of weight reduction on the car, and better tires.

one of the FD rx7's in my town just hit 13.1 with intake, exhaust, jdm turbos, tune, and upped boost. he was running consistant 14.1 before the tune and turbos.
