STi Chasing a Grand Marquis on Roadcourse

We had a bit of fun two weekends ago at our local road course here in Alabama.

Bone stock Mercury Grand Marquis being tossed around on the course by a Madman, STi providing chase cam footage:

So that means that our cars can just outperform a cop car huh? That subaru wasnt pushing at all.

I was the one chasing the merc.. Wanted to get footage of that thing being tossed around. The video doesn't really do it justice, as it was VERY entertaining to watch real-time.

My dad has one of those Merc's, good car for the price, he uses for work mostly. I know that the Police have different suspension/engine packages on their cars than the bone stock ones from the dealerships...But still funny to see the STi playing with him, I bet the other guy in the Mercury was happy he got footage of him driving!

ha looks like ponch & jon having some fun on the race track.

the merc was pushing the car and breaking late ect. lines were a bit off on a few corners though.

Lines? hell, i was amazed he actually kept the thing on the track.

In real life the cops have gigantic guns that shoot spikes that attach to cars and kill the electrics and then you get PWNED for street racing. Or thats what vin deisal told me anyways.
