Default New personal best with SZ49

My runs from the dragstrip Saturday. Best run being a 12.08 @ 114.90mph with a 1.76 60ft.

Thanks guys! Going down to MIR next Sunday for the import vs. domestic race. Hopefully i can break into the 11's on pump gas since MIR's at sea level and has a lot better traction.

My SZ49 doesnt have a fat boy wheel. They didnt offer them when i bought the SZ49.

Awesome driving, a couple more trips to the track and you'll be into the 11's.

I'd love to know how you launch/drive the car with the SZ49. Care to share your launch technique/rpm, dccd settings, and shift points?

Launching the car with the SZ49 was a true challange at first. From a lot of practice i found out that you have to launch the car extremely hard to keep it from bogging. I bounce the revs between 6000 and 6500 and then on the final yellow light i go wide open throttle and start slipping the clutch. Ive found launching the car in auto is best, as it still spins the tires pretty bad even in auto. I shift every gear at 7k except first which i run out to 7400.
