Default Poor STi...

Not sure if this has been posted here but:
http://www.corvettekillstories.com/p...s/wrxcrash.wmv

You can see what caused him to lose control (panic braking in mid-turn)...poor STi. Thankfully no one was hurt.

That guy looked like he swerved to miss that motorcycle. Probably did the smart thing to save their lives but that poor sti. Looked like a rally crash.

If you go frame by frame it looks as if the bike was riding the yellow line leaning into his lane almost when he jumped on the brakes and over corrected. Sucks either way... I really doubt they were going that fast, just too much cranking on the steering wheel. The Vette didn't sound labored at all, about like mine used to sound when ideling down mountain passes.

You might be right although the bike didn't look near the centerline immediately after (but it could have been leaning earlier). The STI driver's lines up to then were terrible and he was braking and correcting in the middle of corners all over the place, I think he just ran out of talent. Glad to hear all were okay at least.

Exactly. Someone needs a HPDE I thin it's funny how they say, "not as easy as it looks". Like that's going to make people think he's a good driver.
