Definitely has the workings of a professional documentary, but perhaps could make two versions, one with song, one with commentary. Otherwise, great job! |

IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2005 Trader Rating: (0) | Hey, thanks guys. This is the most recent video I've made. I noticed that IWSTI.com was using a decent amount of my bandwidth, so I came here to look around and found this thread. Thanks for all the compliments I guess I'll go ahead and post some other autocross videos I've made. The most recent one I made from our region (SWVR - Southern West Virginia Region) had 9 Subarus in it lol. Just watch for the other videos...any ideas on how I could label them so that you guys know it's another one of my videos and that it's not one you've already seen? BTW, keep the suggestions coming. They are tremendously helpful. Thanks again, Troy Morgan |

IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2005 Trader Rating: (0) | Thanks man. I just posted another new video from my local region...check it out. The software is Sony Vegas Movie Studio 4 + DVD, but version 6 just came out and would be a better buy. They seem to have skipped version 5 lol. I paid $99 for version 4 at Best Buy. I think you can even purchase it online from Sony, download it, and begin using it right away. The biggest thing I like about it is that it doesn't freeze/close/self-destrust all the time like most programs do. I used to use Windows Movie Maker 2, which is actually quite handy. I still usually use it to do the final compression/encoding because it compresses further than any other program I have. The manual that came with Vegas Movie Studio sucks, so you have to figure out most everything on your own. I think that if you download it, you get a huge manual with it (in digital form, of course). Tell me if you need any help with it because I know I sure coulda used some assistance my first few times with it. *EDIT: Thanks Kool168 for cross-posting this video. I have more than enough bandwidth, and it's a nice feeling to see that someone liked my video enough to post it for others to see. Last edited by ShortysTRM; 10-03-2005 at 07:07 PM. |
