I finally got to uploading some videos of the track day I went to. It was at Streets of Willow on 8/27/05.

good videos. Next time we go I need to borrow a digital video cam so we can post footage of the Elise getting passed

I'm going to have some of my stuff imported but the cam wasn't working on the last session with the Elise

Let me know when you plan to go out again, I think I can help you with a couple of things

great videos, especially the one vs the elise. No slops for loosing ground to a car that wieghs over a 1000lbs less than your car and out handles any other car on the planet. you could probably buy your STi and Mine for the price he paid for his elise as dealers of those cars like to make substantial market adjustments to the price.

I think I was having a bad day. I didn't feel like I was in the groove like I usually am at track events.

Did you happen to rent a transponder to keep track of your times that day? I've driven on that same track back in April with my old club (SoCal R32

)... my best lap (running clockwise) that day was 1:43. Great all around road course!

Ya, didn't you see the transponder hanging from the passenger side "oh sh*t" handle?
We ran it counter clockwise that day. It was freakin' hot. 111 degrees farenheit!

My best lap time for the day was 1:38. On Bridgestone S-03 street tires, Cobb AP Stage 2, springs, and sways.

ChrisF's best was 1:35 with Pirelli Pzero Corsa R compound tires, EcuTek Stage 2, springs, sways, camber plates.

And Xman did a blistering 1:33 with Hoosier R compound tires, stock engine and with springs, camber plates, and sway bars.

i in IL but i just found place where to drag strip. it in joliet. 2 hour from my home X-(. but still try find where to race on track nto just drap strip

You might want to try out autocrossing too. There should be some events near you.
