well just answer 1 question for me bud,the rims on that wrx are not sti rims, they are in fact wrx rims which cannot clear the brembo brakes.sorry but do you actually think somebody is gonna switch out those brembos just to fit some regular wrx rims on it to give it more of a sleeper look, thus losing handling and good brakes? i dont think so.and to your offer,i know a couple cobalt ss around here so expect a video in the near future.oh and by the way,i guess he changed his seats and body kits as well.oh and the fact that the cobalt ss was carrying 4 passengers and the wrx only 1,lol that proves the suby wasnt really racing at all because if it was, then the suby would have literally crushed the cobalt because of all that extra weight. IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2003 | ? Sorry, I'm trying to figure out whether you are arguing for us or against us. That's one hell of a slow run for a STi, even at 5000ft+ elevation. He probably didn't launch it hard or bogged. I like the video that shows the guy "red lighting" though. Someone had too much time on their hands. |

The only thing I can think of is that they were friends with the STi driver and he purposfully paced the SS while the SS went full throttle. Like many others have said in the real world, I too have ran into an SS (also when stock) and it wasnt even close....im talking 8 lengths or so from a 30-100 roll. | |
