Forgive me for saying this (I'm not tryin to come off as a jerk), but buy a Jeep if you want to that kind of stuff. That was the worst use of WRX's and STi's that I've ever seen, probably worse than the kid who locked his e-brake and spun his front tires. "June 26 Rally Meet".....right. There are some nice dirt/gravel roads in the Tampa area (Wimauma, Mulberry, Picnic, Ft. Lonesome, etc..) that would be a lot of fun for you guys. Plenty of roads near the phosphate mining areas that are so perfect for drifting corners and such that you would swear they were created for that purpose. Driving in a sand pit doesn't quite constitue a "rally", it does however create extreme wear on your cars. To each there own I guess, but I'd be willing to bet that you all would have a much better time on dirt/gravel roads.

And people wonder why our insurance premiums are so high. For me my STi won't see anything besides clean dry pavement. But like rv7 said, to each his own.

um that was kind of a stupid thing to do, i mean sand?! you keep it up and your beloved sti wont last very much longer, sand is tiny peices of glass imagine glass in your engine what would happen? obviously that sand it flying everywhere even up into the engine bay, i wouldnt do it again, thats why they rally on dirt, snow, rocks, grass lol not sand.

it was fun to watch b/c shoot lol it wasnt my car!!

Okay so there was one car that had a FMIC...did it get mud sprayed all over it? Cause if it did, I'm sure that was a nice thing to have on the way home, starving the turbo of air. My guess too is that thing probally didn't have a upgraded turbo either, cause I'd think that someone who spent more than a few k's on upgrades would have the sense to stay outta that stuff.

Dude, that's where the STi comes from. That's it's heritage. Digging in the dirt, sand, clay, gravel. Yeah! Just watch the WRC. Anyway, cool vid. I wouldn't take mine off like that, I'm a smooth crotch. But damn that looks like a hoot! Petter would be proud. Oh and Slipknot rocked, fit it perfectly.
