Did I see that right he's shifting at almost 8 grand? That's on the 2 liter motor,also really liked the suspension shots .

yeah, all JDM STis redline at 8K IIRC.

is it because the JDm motor is 2.0? extra .5L or extra 1k rpm... hmmmmmm never thought of it that way. I think I like the extra .5L, for low-end torque; but, what do I know.

Not sure why they redline to 8K, but I'm sure the 2.0L helps. Also, from what I've read the JDM EJ20 has better components compared to the EJ257.
