Yeah the subi was definitely better. In the wet. He was able to put down power, note: subi was shifting at high rpms, pushing the car. The C6 was NOT pushing much at all as it is too wet out, you can see the vette fighting for traction most of the video in the wet. Subi also had a couple problems braking, locking up going straight into the corner at one point.

Put both cars on a dry track and see the Vette further destroy the Subi as it would be able to open up and get the tires warmed up properly.

No disrespect to the Subaru, great car, but on all honesty, both drivers were douchebags.

Subaru driver is quite bad at driving on the racetrack. No rev-match downshifting, he just lets off the clutch while braking. I was doing that when I was first learning how to drive a stick. Taking wrong racing line sometimes, missing the apex, and then the accident where he hits another car is just ridiculous! He entered the track without even looking who could be behind! Adrenalin rush or what? He should've been kicked off the track right then.

What a coincidence, I read the post title, and today on the highway I rev'd on a corvette and took off and got over and pretty much got out its way haha

Well how can we blaim the Subaru driver for pushing his car yet the Vette owner was too much of a candy a** to put his power down? I watched that video and all I saw was the Subaru kickin the crap outta that Vette. And the Vette driver being a douche and in my opinion ramming the Subaru.

Also, this video is not about what would happen on a dry 1/4 mile run. The situation in this video clearly showed a wet track. If the Vette owner could not be bothered to setup his car for the rain I don't feel bad for him at all.

Great race. The Vett was racing very aggressive. The STI def benefitted in the rainy situations, I think on the same track in dry conditions the Corvette would have pulled harder out of turns into the straightaways. I wish one day that my STI will be that fast.

Vette driver took some horrible lines... suby driver should have pushed the vette out of his way as the vette driver did. Both would get a warning pulling that **** over here. It is typical that when your car is at a disadvantage that you make cheap moves (as the vette driver did). Imagine in the dry if the STi driver pushed the vettes in the turns.... When you race a vette you pray for good weather..
