Put them on a dry track, same conditions, the Vette would have walked away even more. Subi caught up in traffic.

That's what ya get trying to track an econo box with an engine transplant.

Great video. I think this stuff just happens on the track. AWD has an advantage cutting inside on the turns. Vette may pull away on the straight aways but has to go wide on the turns. I know been out their with a ton of Vettes. I don't think the raming was intentional. No one who races their car wants it to end early... especially with an accident. This isn't Nascar.

...uhhh, wouldn't that make the Suby faster? No tractions means no matter how much hp you got, you're not going anywhere

Hate to say it but that econo box was much faster than that C6 in the straights and in the turns.

Wow, what a great angle for watching a race. Did he miss a shift towards the end or was I hearing things? A few times it sounded like he was going into an up shift and then downshifted almost immediately after. I am not criticizing just observing to learn, I wish I could drive like that... Looks like so much fun. The corvette was a little faster on the straights but the wet conditions helped the STI to win over the vet. It was a shock to see the vet hitting the STI, the STI driver almost recovered but then got hit, wow…
