225 tires??????? On a time attack car??????

Am I misinformed in thinking that is a tad skinny tire for a built car???

It's a street class car, I normally run 255/40/17 street tires, but knowing I was going to be out gunned I had to pick up whatever I could in the last 3 days and ship them to Texas for the event. I don't think I did too bad for being so heavily out tire'd
