I don't agree with their conclusion... it looked to liked the STi won the events to me. not just in times but in the fun factor too.

if you watch the video at about 3:50 he talks about how "all previous imprezas are much more stable", and that "mid corner it just lets go"

and because im bitter about how the GR's turned out jk

and because i own a GD

oh man im going to get flamed by every GR owner on this forum.

all and all i havent seen a new STi perform so i have no room to talk

I Agree with you LilJohn completely hate to say it but previous Sti were much better. Proof is that they are not selling and for the first time Subaru is offering deep discounts on GR Sti and it also will be featured on the new F&F 4 to try and sell the new model.

That is the worst argument you could ever make... haha

I think you are forgetting about a VERY important factor... the economy? tied in with declining sales of the STI model since 2004.

I agree with you. The GD version was much more tactile/raw/track ready/whatever. The stock GR is a great car but not up to a track challange with the GR. Now, slap on a set of sways and tires that don't suck monkey balls and you GR owners will have a legitimate contender to play with.

+1 - Whiteline bushes replacement kit, sways, similar tyres to what the GD came with standard and your good to go, without being too harsh.
