Default 0-60 in 3 secs flat
- Click for VIDEO of the 0-120 mph acceleration run, timed
- Finally got around to making an acceleration/launch video.
- 0-60mph: 3.0 seconds
- 0-100mph: 7.1 seconds
- 0-120mph: 10.86 seconds
- This is launch number 2 since new clutch. Probably launch number 12 since I bought the car. Keeping myself under control
- Engine in perfect condition, oil analysis, spark plug check, compression test - all perfect.

Wowzers!!!! But stock speedo can be off, you need GPS in order to really prove that. Either way that is awesome!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks! One can also reliably calculate vehicle speed at any given point by knowing the tire diameter (with expansion factored in), gear ratio per gear and RPM. I'd love to test against GPS some day.

Yeah perfectly correct or not, the way your tach jumps to 40mph is crazy.

Being the former eurotrash that I am I still listen mostly to fast music when I drive. I think the beginning of this song is cool

Yup, it takes the goQuality STI less than or exactly 1 second to go through the First gear (0-38mph) on a good launch. Second gear is over in exactly 1 second (or maybe a tenth longer). Third gear takes ~1.4 seconds. Fourth gear is over with in ~2.2 seconds. I waste a lot of time shifting, although most of my shifts take 0.5 seconds according to all the datalogs. First to Second gear shift is usually the longest, Third to Fourth gear shift the shortest.

You can set that up with your rev limiter / warning option. I can't remember the procedure but it is described in owner's manual.
