0-40 in 1 sec? hmm...I would like to see this launch again except show the road, so there's no "I'm on a hill hehe" if I'm wrong then DAMN that's fast lol.

its really easy to do, ur manual should walk you through it, but all you have to do is (with the car in off, but key in) press the trip button then turn the rev button to the left of it.

I was thinking the same thing since one of the other videos shows the car going down a big long hill.

Thanks man!

Yep, 0-40mph comes in 1 second or less.

First gear acceleration (0-38mph or 0-40mph) in the goQuality STI usually happens in less than one second (you can view some of the datalogs in my journal) and then I have to shift to second gear. The new 6-puck clutch rocks! About 22psi of boost in the first gear there. A lot of fun!

Watch my other video on YouTube, I have a first gear launch there - about 1 second to redline in first gear with a stock slipping clutch... and the darn stock clutch wouldn't let me shift further

I normally do not launch the car at all, always do a rolling start. Not looking forward to breaking axles and tranny having that much fun every time This 3 seconds 0-60 video was to prove the acceleration datalog numbers; probably launch number 12 or so since new.. And YES, this was on a straight, even, different road than the previous vid.

Launched in first gear. See STI's gearing and speed per gear.
