Left turns and beer comercials, Nascar rules.....YEAH RIGHT. Would like to see a Nascar driver try to rally. He would probably wreck and then try to beat up the tree for making him wreck.

I actually don't mind watching Nascar, I mean I'd rather watch rallying, but if its on I'll normally sit through it: I'd certainly rather watch Nascar than Formula 1!

Oh, and Pirate Bay is back up now if anyone else wants the Torrents for this series!

I can't say exactly whats wrong with Formula 1. I mean the cars are the cutting edge of motorsport technology, they're racing at high speeds on some of the worlds greatest circuits... it should be the most exciting sport ever. Yet I find it incredibly dull to watch. At least with Nascar you get a bit of competition, but with F1 is always seems very routine. If you watch any old F1 races you can see what I mean (like 60's and 70's era), they always seem to be driving on the ragged edge, and every race felt like it could be won by anyone on the grid.

Anyway, back on topic: I've downloaded the first couple of parts of this documentary and I'd highly recommend it to those who haven't watched it yet. Unfortunately it only seems to be available in the unworkable .mkv format. Grrrr!

That was an amazing find, although quite painful to watch SWRT not being able to get their **** right. Its kind of amazing that the car company that sort of build their heritage around WRC and rallying in general, is now hopelessly behind Fords and Citroens.

I kind of see your point, as one of the commentators once said something along the lines of "NASCAR is a race and Formula One is a parade". The one (and arguably only) good thing about NASCAR is that the playing field is closer together, which makes it that much more unpredictable. Everything else is horrendously boring. I am a huge motorsports fan, but honestly, i cant sit through 3 hours and 120 laps of OVALS!!! I find WRC way superior to any motorsport out there.

Sorry no real intention of hijacking the thread, just felt like i had to comment.

Thats for sure. Still seeing that Ford Focus with the rally downforce wing makes me puke. Subaru just seems like they got caught up dominating and needs a break to get their act together.
