Yep, BallinSTi doubted him and he proved it was him indeed. I haven't seen ballin in a while. Also haven't seen anymore of the monster motor GR is building. Rather built, I mean.

Can't wait to see that car come together in the new video. I'm sure those who've seen the other films in the Ghost Rider series will already be aware of this, but I'd take the 2008 date with a pinch of salt though. Ghost Rider 5 (the source of the latest Ghost Rider In Subaru videos) was originally promised in 2006, but still isn't properly available yet!

Still, great series of videos, and the introduction of the Subaru has, in my opinion, elevated it above the Getaway In Stockholm series (which have failed to reach the same level as GiS2 in my opinion).

My only minor critique of the Ghost Rider In Subaru feature(s) were the "Police Helicopters". At no point - even in the retail quality version of the film - can you clearly define a helicopter (i.e. position lights etc.). And the section where he turns off his headlights to "avoid detection by the helicopter" is BS, as Swedish police helicopters (like virtually all police pursuit aircraft) are kitted out with FLIR and so would be tracking the car by an infra red image rather than by visual identification. Irrespective though, theres still some awesome driving in those videos: the roundabout drift is my personal highlight!

I don't know much about police helicopters, but in the video, I did notice some lights up there. Who really knows what happened, but GR seems not to have much reason to lie about it. He's proven himself quite enough already doing what he does, I doubt he would lie about that. Again, who knows?

Again, I really hope he finds some time to come back to this forum to drop us a line. Maybe even an update...

Yeah, thats right, the video does "ring" a couple of lights in the sky, but you can't really define them as any more then that.

As has been said in both this and the other Ghost Rider thread though, whether there is or isn't a helicopter(s) is irrelevant: because the driving in the films is still seriously nuts!

I hope he makes another appearance on this forum as well, as the Subaru sections are by far and away my favourite segments from the DVD's!

I actually think its kind or ironic that, as good as the bike stuff is, the best material (in my opinion) that Ghost Rider has turned out involves using cars.

Similarly, the best of the recent Getaway In Stockholm material (which has always prided itself on its use of cars) has been the stuff that involved a bike. (For those of you who haven't seen it GiS 8 is only really worth watching for the bike stuff - the car material looks very weak when compared to Ghost Rider In Subaru).

I haven't seen the 8th one... but I got tired of those GIS movies after the 3rd one.

GR seems to have waaaaay better chases, and more crazyness.

You had the right idea! The third one was alright, but with the exception of the bike material in number 8, I've found the subsequent DVD's pretty disappointing. GiS2 was by far and away the best entry in the series.

Yeah, so far I've really enjoyed every one of the GR movies, they all where very well made, and had a lot of action. I gave up on the GIS series long ago.

Yeah, I thought the early DVD's (again number 2! - though thats partly because it included the first appearance of a Subaru in the GR series) were better, but GR5 has, in my opinion, set a new benchmark for the series. The bike on bike section is f*cking nuts.

I'm on the look out for the "Black Prince"* DVD now, which is suppose to have just been re-released

(* = Black Prince was the inspiration for Ghost Rider!)
