How dare you! 35r STi FTW. ++ you have torque!

Seriously though, that Evo was fast, I give him props.

Maybe not
Haha well thats a big difference man. Run some pump gas where you have to knock down the timing and the boost and see where you stand. C16 on 35R Evo's is about a 100awhp difference. They put down about 650awhp with C16.

@ 26PSI he should be high 400's, low 500s. Buschur has put out some Evo's with 35Rs on STRAIGHT 93 pushing 550 on a mustang dyno.

Nice race none the less. btw can the guy drive? Especially on big turbo cars that makes a HUGE difference staying in boost.

I actually raced him on 26lbs lastnight on pump+meth just for fun, and got him by a car.

I am not saying the car isn't fast bro.

or it will be until he blows up the crappy tranny, or smokes the clutch.

He's still on stock tranny and stock clutch?

If its aftermarket clutch and he smokes it, then he DEFINITELY can't drive and thats answers my question on whether or not he can drive or not.

typical..

ha, I didn't say that it was a stock clutch! Its a twin disk clutch.

The car is nice, and its quick, and the gearing on Evo's is better, and YES they will make more power with the same mods than an STi, BUT in this case...the Evo looses! Call it what you want...the Evo's are a more efficient motor in a car that isn't built with 1/2 the engineering.

end of story

Calm down here man. I didn't say your car was slow and yes in this case the Evo got its a$$ handed to him. It was clear as day in the video.

But what are you talking about smoking a twin disk clutch? The only way to do that is if you don't know how to drive. I'm just curious as to why you think he'd smoke the clutch thats all. No need to get all defensive for nothing.

And the trannys are fine. My friend was 634awhp on the STOCK 5 speed for a year.

btw 1/2 the engineering? I don't see any STI's dominating the Time Attack series unlike the AMS Evo is. You brought this up not I.

I swear if you guys didn't know I had an Evo you'd act completely different.

ok...we will back down the heat

Sorry I blew up

No one has put 200 grand into an STi either and Time Attacked it.

He was not smoking the clutch I was referring to the crappy stock clutches in Evos.

We will end this discussion with the fact that both cars have there strengths and weaknesses.

To each there own.

Thanks for posting
