Still? I'm not the other guy "STI Raper" or whatever that kept making new threads about Evos talking about how STI's sucked and what not... That guy was a joke and was extremely annoying not to mention embarrassing other Evo owners. I agree some things can and most likely are taken the wrong way then people ment unfortunately but whatever. Unlike him I actually like STI's. Anyway back on topic I'm HAPPY for Big Valley, with some more tweaking they'll be in the 8's easily. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad.

Why do STI guys have such a hard time with the fact that EVOs have an iron block that is MUCH more capable than ours. EVOs kick ass, get over it...

IWSTI Addict since: Jan 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | AMS Evo I know for a fact has gone 8.56 @ 168. Thats their best time, best MPH I believe is 171 or 172. David Buschur has a daily driven Evo VIII with a FULL interior that went 9.42 @ 155. That was with his 35R setup. Same car went 10 flat on straight 93, no meth, or nos, all boost. Yep ALL boost, no nos. Thanks man. I truely love STI's even though I own an Evo. Hard to believe for some but its the truth. Look at some of my first threads made...shows I was trying to get an STI waaay before I was even looking at Evos. AWD brothers for life! |

The thing is, I like EVOs. They're great cars. That's why I get tired of people trying to make it EVO vs STi. You can't have one without the other. The existence of both is what makes them great.

IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2004 Trader Rating: (52) | Well considering you EVO boys have had 16 years to perfect how the 4g63 works I would hope your faster then our EJ25 which has been around a 1/4 of the time your block has. None the less, great to see big valley moving foward! |

| Amateur STI Driver | Those are not slicks ![]() ![]() A few more details and it should be in the 8's all boost. For those commenting about Evo's vs STi... remember unlike the 3 Evo's that run 8's right now (which are complete race cars... about 500+ lb lighter) This car still have glass windows with power windows, P/S, A/C... so still streetable (if it wasn't for the 8.5 sec cage hehe). The car weights around 3,000 lb with driver. More to come! |

IWSTI Addict since: Jan 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | David Buschur's Evo VIII has a FULL complete interior just like it came from the factory. Nothing taken out, and ran a 9.4 @ 155. His car is daily driven, picks up the kids from school in it! Seriously though its just a matter of time before that STI gets into the 8s. If they get into the 8's in the current condition its in that will surely be impressive. |

If AMS moved all the power to the rear wheels they have A LOT more power and would easily be in the 7's with a manual tranny. Not trying to get into an arguement here but the RWD car and an AUTO isn't the same class as the Big Valley STI and the AMS Evo. This ad is not endorsed by this member.
