| Lurker | But Evo in june 2008 had a shoot out between an Evo X MR and a STI 08 and the Subie one. Much of these comparisions are feel. I tested the Evo X GSR and hated the noise (at speed) and the bucking bronco nature of it. The STI does not have that feel, some have called the 08 soft, but if you read the Evo article it says that if you push it through that softness is not real, it is just confidence and more grip. Lets face it who keeps a car stock anway? Throw some better coilovers on the STI and I'm sure it would've hanged with the rest of the cars, but who knows how much the X would pull away with the same upgrade. Bottom line any car can be fast so long as you have the funds so don't take these shootouts to heart. |
