Default My STi at Summit Point Shenandoah Circuit in Wet/Dry

hey all, here's a video of a dry session and a wet session at Summit Point's Shenandoah Circuit. The dry is the first half of the video and the wet session is the second half. There's a few times it gets a little hairy in the wet but it was an awesome experience. enjoy!

Thanks!

TrackDaze was fine. I can't recall having any problems with the rules they set or how they enforced them. It seemed like the instructors were a mixed bag, I got lucky but some other people didn't get great guys. I would have no problem going back and doing a track day with them again though.

I'd really like to do VIR so hopefully i'll get there soon. Would this be your first track day?

This would be my first track day at VIR but have attended races there in the past. It would be nice to meet up with you at VIR in the future for a trackday.....come to think about it I was in DC this past weekend and I should have given you a shout.

Gothcya. Yea VIR is supposed to be amazing so i will definitely get there at some point (potentially at the end of this track season).

Next time you're in DC we can meet up at All Sports, which is a great go-karting place near dulles airport.

Hehe, yea my brakes were pretty vocal. I have the Pagid Yellows and they were great, no fade and they didn't wear too quickly. On the track to be honest i didn't even notice them that much. On the street though they are a bit noisey

To be honest i couldn't even tell you what kind of camera it is. It's a mini DV camera that has to be 5 years old. For what it is, it does a pretty decent job. I just need to find a slightly better mounting point so i can get a better view of what's happening on the track.

Thanks! Yea, that was my first time at Shenandoah (or Summit Point for that matter) and the track is a blast. It's much more technical than Limerock (which is what i'm used to driving on) and some of the turns, like the karussel, are just a blast!

Summit Point: Shenandoah Circuit

Are you going to be at Hyperfest on the 21st? They are having Hyper Drives where you can take your car out on the track. Hopefully I get to take mine out.

Whenever I get over the fear of something breaking if i drive it too hard

But really, I'm waiting on an arrival on a few more suspension goodies in about a month so I'm definitely going to be down to take my car and myself to the track for the very first time.

Don't wait too long! You should really try to get out for a day before this season ends. It doesn't matter what mods you have on, it'll be a ton of fun. I was thinking about signing up for one of the days at Thunderbolt in October with PDA. That new facility looks awesome.
