it may be a 35r sti or it may not be, i never saw an engine bay or mod list...

videos like that are gay... i just have a hard time believing a bolt on evo with race gas, can put down more then a 35r

if that was a gt35r sti and it was tuned properly, he woulda lagged for a second or 2 then went screaming past that evo like it was standing still. The evo was probably making say 360-380 wheel max. The sti would be making closer to 500 wheel if not more.

That sti could also have been stock turbo with ewg like I'm planning on going. No mod list, no engine show so we dont know

well idk about 500whp on the gt35r i mean dont get me wrong its very possible but there are A LOT of people espically on here that have 4**whp with those kits. I have a hard time seeing that to. So race gas, evo has tbe, most likley mbc, i mean dam he can crank the boost on that. Just crazy how it all works out i guess. That guy was freaking out hahah.

That would suck if the STi really had a 35r but you guys have to realize that big turbos like that suck on PUMP gas. Throw in some race gas and that Evo would have been demolished!

This is a major repost. That evo IX RS is on 110 octane and runs 11.3 in the 1/4 with the stock turbo and mild boltons and it is a RS. The STi was on pump, 15psi. The evo owner and STi owners are two cool guys.

^^Haha, I was also going to say that Evo's with some bolt-ons are well known to run low 11s so that is a trap just waiting to happen.

I saw this a while ago, but i rewatched it.... he beats the STi bad on the first pull cause the driver misses a gear, you can hear it.... revs, bov followed by another immediate bov.....
