Subie.tv -Subaru Impreza WRX STI 2008 - Motor Week

Don't think it's been posted before here. There have been posts of the review before Motorweek Telecast of 2008 STi vs EVO X but not the vid.

I think that's the worst 0-60 time I've seen of an STi in a review. I think R&T did it in 5.4 so did the Automobile magazine and C&D was best at 5.0 seconds. 1/4 mile seems very slow too.

they drive it like wimps. if ur going for a top 0-60 and quarter mile time, u romp on it, not baby it.

They definitely did not launch hard as the in most reviews. Either way I like the car and will be getting one in another year or so with the hope that I could keep my 06.

Take a look at around 3:22, is the driver in the 08 sti? lol, I think not...too funny!

Hahah nice catch. I probably would have noticed it too, but I was only half watching it. Motorweek has always been a pretty lame show. I can't wait to see Top Gear compare the new STI and Evo. Unless they already did and I just haven't seen it yet.
