our cars top end is silly. even a stg 2 vs stock shows how little difference there is. or I just keep tyring to justify my need for a turbo upgrade.

there is a huge difference btw stage 2 vs stock.. like he said my stage 2 would leave my stock sti like it was nothing

It depends ... a Protuned stage 2 or one that took well to an OTS map is definitely faster than stock. My car didn't take well to the Cobb stage 2 map and I only put down about 13 more whp than stock! After a Protune it was like +35whp/+66wtq or so and no way in hell would a stock 04-05 STi pull like my Protuned car.

trust me a stock 07 wont hang with a well tuned st. 2 catless. I would beat newer m3
s on the freeway without downshifting to 5th when I needed 2, if i downshifted it was over. I could hang with convertible 911 turbos on the freeway dead even, probably were autos or something as well but you get the picture. No way a stock sti will hang, its like a 50whp difference.

if you can't shift the sti well or drive drag it well you loose a lot of time. launching as well. Can make or break

Sorry guys but there is no way in hell a stock STI would run with a pro tuned stage 2 STI. This guy might have sucked at driving who knows, but he should of put 5 - 7 cars on him. It's like saying my friends stock wrx ran with a stock STI. The difference is that big.
