Congratulations to the RRT (Rata Racing Team) in Puerto Rico. Yesterday they got into the 9's with two 9's passes in the 02 WRX "Rata car".

Stock STi 6 speed
DSS stage 2 axles
Hydra tuned by Junot

Owner- Edward " La Rata"
Driver- Roly "rolyco"

This was done without launch control. The Hydra has the launch control set already but the current clutch can't handle it. So more to come in 2008!

Either way 119 MPH in the 1/8, 144 MPH in the 1/4 and 9's quarter miles times in a street car running all boost and a turbo smaller than 68mm is an amazing achievement!

The car was driver to and from the track.

We are very happy with how things are going for us (RRT TEAM). After all the hard work thigs are paying off really well. Over 20 10.0 and 10.1 runs, and now in the 9's daily driven all boost wrx, and also included in Puerto Ricos Race magazine Super Compacto in the Dec. Edition.

Man we are jumping with Joy!!!

Even of you red light or stage for 5 minutes the outcome/ 1/4 mile time will be the same. Time does not start to count till you break the beam at the start of the track (staging)

From the time it turns green till you move is called reaction time.

The time does not start untill you actually start to move. You could take all day to move and won't affect your time, but I would probably laught at ya!!!!!

Where did that 118 mph eighth come from on the one run? Looking at all the other number it doesn't make sense. The 1/4 traps and ETs are all very close.

Yet another quick pass by the Puerto Rican Stig. What does the car owner run in this car?

I don't know where it came from. Maybe all the planets align at that particular moment Or maybe the head wind diminish (this particular track faces due east and we always have the trade winds here) But that was the best 1/8 that night.

The owner could get low 10's, he is a good driver too. On the previous set-up he almost match the other Page Ranking Stig (Georgie) time on the same car. Well I would be disrespecting some other drivers if I say those two are the only one that could drive. There actually at least 6 or 7 PR Stig! (Myself included )

Edit- Oh and this is only Subarus because there are many great drivers driving different platforms and brands. (before someone from the Island points it out)
